CombiOvens.com.au (ABN XX XXX XXX XXX) operates this website. This policy explains how we handle your personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you request a quote or place an order, we collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address, phone number
  • Business details — business name, delivery address
  • Order information — what you've enquired about or purchased
  • Technical data — basic site analytics (page visits, browser type) to keep the site working properly. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising.

We don't collect more than we need. We don't buy data lists. We don't run remarketing ads.

Why we use it

Your information is used to:

  • Prepare and send you a quote
  • Confirm and fulfil your order
  • Arrange delivery to your nominated address
  • Follow up on warranty or after-sales matters
  • Respond to any questions you send us

We won't add you to a marketing list without your explicit opt-in.

Where your data is stored

Quote requests and order records are stored as JSON files in a private GitHub repository. This data is accessible only to CombiOvens staff. GitHub's infrastructure is based in the United States — by submitting a quote request, you consent to this storage.

We retain records for seven years to meet Australian tax and business obligations, then delete them.

Who we share it with

We share your data with as few parties as possible. The two service providers we use:

Resend

Used to send quote emails. Your name and email address pass through Resend's platform. They do not store or use this data beyond delivery. resend.com/privacy

Stripe (when payment processing is active)

Used to process card payments. CombiOvens never sees or stores your card details. stripe.com/au/privacy

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share it with our suppliers or brand partners for their own marketing purposes.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access — ask us what data we hold about you
  • Correct — ask us to fix inaccurate information
  • Delete — ask us to remove your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Complain — contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data
